So where is the doctor supposed to get changed? At present, I think the best compromise is to provide somewhere completely separated, which is often impractical and, tbh, I can see the same people having a problem with that as well.
This is such a tough issue as trans people are free to be who they want which is a good thing but can we as a society, legally, force other people to accept it?
The nurse was alone in the changing room with them which wouldn’t intimidate me personally as I’m a man, but this whole metoo and women preferring to be alone with bears etc has shown that women are inherently scared of the danger posed by men.
Obviously a trans person is no longer identifying as a man, but if they have the size and strength gained by growing up biologically male, would a woman still be as intimidated by this?
I do think this is tough as the trans doctor should feel included and not targeted, but also the nurse should feel safe at work and it’s hard to police to someone else what safe is.
Hope the nurse wins big and helps turn the tide in this nonsense
Hope the nurse has a great time queueing up at the job centre 😀 🙏
The judge has decided, in their infinite wisdom, that The Times and BBC’s desire to plaster the doctors name and place of work across TV, print and social media takes precedence over the safety of the people involved
They have put this poor woman’s life in danger in order to turn this proceeding into a media circus.

Good luck mods.
