Units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus have been redeployed to the Stolin, Lelchitsy, Mozyr and Gomel districts.

Belarus has increased its military presence on the Ukrainian border.

This was reported by the monitoring group “Belarusian Hajun.”

“Units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus have been redeployed to the Stolin, Lelchitsy, Mozyr, and Gomel districts,” the report states.

“Belarusian Hajun” notes that at the end of December, a military transport aircraft IL-76 of the Russian Aerospace Forces flew from Russia to Belarus.

Additionally, on January 1 and 3, flights of Belarusian Air Force fighter jets were recorded at the Baranovichi airfield, flying over the southeastern regions of Belarus.
