You missed a bit short stuff
I don’t know why people insist on struggling with this, saucepan of lukewarm water from the tap, throw it over, quick turn of the windscreen wiper blades, and you’re ready to go.
Get an extendable one – I picked one up years ago in Aldi middle aisle. Unfortunately left that in the boot of a car when I part-ex’d it but found a similar one in Halfords a couple of years ago. Has a brush too which is useful for snow. Also keeps your hand away from the ice chipping up so you don’t get numb hands or wet gloves.
I will never understand why people don’t just cover the windscreen and front two doors with a cheap/old large bedsheet. My Dad was doing this back in the 80s when we lived in a mountainous bit of Germany and I’ve always done the same.
I’ve not scraped a car in nearly 30 years of driving.
I guess you’ll simply have to walk into Mordor.
De-icer spray. That is all.
Throw some dog ears on there and you have the car from Dumb & Dumber 😂
My car had a snow mohawk yesterday due to shortness.

Don’t people know that if you start the car and wait 10 min the snow will melt and no need for scraping, I see alot of people scraping their cars with the engine off
This isn’t EV specific, but since we’ve got one I’ve very much enjoyed setting a ready by time for the heating to come on.
My partner goes out and the windscreen is clear and the car is warm. Out neighbour has an EV too and for some reason still likes scraping her windscreen.
An annoying side effect of having an EV is that the summer solution of windscreen washer liquid freezes and does not unfreeze as it’s not next to a be chunky of heated metal anymore. Heated water bottles for EVs need to be a thing.
