As in previous years, Malta will select its artist and song for Eurovision via the national selection “MESC” (“The Malta Eurovision Song Contest“).
24 artists will compete in the national selection this year.

Miriana Conte, Raquela Dalli, Haley Azzopardi, Kelsey Bellante, Mark Anthony Bartolo, Nathan Psaila, Miguel Bonello, Stefan Galea, Victoria Sciberras and Dario Bezzina have participated in “MESC” in the past.

Justine Shorfid participated in “X-Factor Malta”.

“MESC 2025” – Full Details

The selection will feature 3 shows:

24 artists will participate in the 2 semi-finals, 12 in each semi-final. 8 artists will qualify from each semi-final to the final

The results will be based on a combination of jury votes and public votes. These shows will be held in front of an audience.

The semi-finals will be held on the 4th and 6th of February 2025.

The final will be held on the 8th of February 2025.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 artists in the final.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
