The fire at Engels is a huge hit for russia, since this oil depot is one of the few places that produces a specific type of jet fuel for the TU-160 hypersonic bomber. Less availability of the T-8V fuel could mean less TU-160 activity.

  1. Being a fireman in russia must be a busy job at the moment

  2. I mean looking at a satellite photo that is a huge depot with 56 tanks.

This shows 1-3 are on fire.

  3. So that happens only when debris falls down…. imagine direct hit…

  4. Lucky Russians. Lovely new “warming center” opened 😆 🤣 😂

  5. I am sure some Putin worshipping free energy morons have a solution.

  6. food for thought – you don’t want some of your best weapons to be dependent on a single fuel / component which you cannot protect.

  7. Didn’t realize the TU-160 took special fuel. Jet-A is TS-1 in Russia.

  8. >Considering the limited attainability of the T-8V fuel, if tanks containing it were destroyed by drones tonight, russian Tu-160 could be grounded completely or significantly limited in their operations. Although objectively, russian barely ever uses Tu-160 bombers for strikes on Ukraine anyway. The last time this massive aircraft was deployed on a missile launch mission was during the aerial attack on November 17,

For something that’s rarely used, I hope it’s not all fuel for the TU-160. Hopefully some regular TU-95 fuel is/was stored there. Get them grounded for a while

  9. Ukrainian debris technology is getting more advanced by the day.

  10. I am amazed that nearby tanks don’t burn when they are that close to the big fire.

  11. Yep, burning white hot, that sure as shit aint gasoline.

A nice hit, fuck ’em up – 2025 is OURS

  12. Burn it too the ground then burn it again

    FUCK rUZZIA
