I would desert back to Ukraine too if I were them. Fighting Russians is better than dealing with Pierres all day.
So they saw our country and decided they didn’t care that much about theirs and would rather stay here.
To be fair, only 50 of them deserted while in France. The rest was spreaded across the frontline without really staying as a single unit and deserted in Ukraine.
And the Fr*nch commanding officer in charge was so proud!
