By Khaleda Rahman – National Correspondent:
Firefighters are battling multiple fast-growing wildfires in Los Angeles that have destroyed buildings and forced thousands of people to flee their homes.
Almost 3,000 acres have burned in the city’s Pacific Palisades neighborhood after a fire broke out on Tuesday morning. About 30,000 residents were ordered to evacuate.

apparently this was human caused. Would not be surprised if this was a homeless fire that got out of hand.
The fact that this dumb question even has to asked is just more evidence to let it all burn anyways. We deserve everything coming our way. And every single moron out there will still keep asking if it’s human or climate change related.
Here’s the thing. Even if this was caused by a human, which it probably was, is it normal for wildfires to burn like this? Is 19% relative humidity and constant long drought periods caused by humans or climate change? Fucking sick of this shit.
We’re all going to die and everyone is blaming everything except for what it actually is.
What a stupid title
No its jewish space lasers…DUH
Burn Hollywood Burn!!!!!
Lol I actually want to know how it started and everyone in the comments are throwing a fit about the title… BUT i researched that it started from a brush fire and then the high winds made it spread. But then I’m like well how did the brush fire start? lol.
I mean climate change might have something to do with it, but windstorms after 8 months of no rain means fire risk. I guess one could argue that the delayed winter rains are a result of climate change but that’s probably a stretch. It just happens sometimes
no matter what! it was caused by man so stop asking stupid questions
well…eventually it won’t matter who believes what, because:
1) all of it will burn down
2) none of the people living there now will be able to afford to stay. Insurance companies will pull out and pfft.
so relax, it will all be over soon
I’m betting on a planned arson that affected many areas of LA. Just sadly the state of the USA
If only those damn Californians would have listened an cleaned up the forests, we wouldn’t be in this predicament
People built water dependent single family houses in a dry mountainous area that naturally has wildfires, then attempted to prevent those natural fires for decades during drought…
yeah so don’t build where there’s wildfires unless you want to cause bigger wildfires..
The idiots that think it’s “climate change” bahahhahahahahaha
I’m prepared for the results of this comment. People on either side of this subject, well, its like talking to a brick wall.
No, climate change is not the reason for these fires in California.
First, most of California is a desert. The areas that isnt desert is a Mediterranean-type of climate, which is basically a desert with trees.
The dry weather is because most of Cali is a desert. The majority of Calis rain comes from the Pacific, but there’s a huge high pressure area out there that pushes most of the storms to Mexico, or Canada. In the winter this weakens letting rain pass on to Cali.
The drought that people say is a result of climate change ended in Dec 2022 when a series of storms ran through Cali.
In 2023 an El Niño event showed up, that has been around since. This event has caused the HP system in the Pacific to become very strong and stick around so when winter came there was no snow/storms, making things drier for longer. El Niño is something thats been showing up for a long long time and is not the result of climate change.
The country is experiencing a strong cold snap, which is bringing high winds. Most likely these winds knocked over a power line that sparked, causing the fire to start, then the winds spread it extremely fast and continue to do so. Add to it all the combustible materials we use, and its very hard to stop. For this type of situation, it doesnt matter how dry or wet the grass it, its gonna burn. The winds fuel the fires making them stronger and hotter in a matter of minutes.
The phrase “climate change”, is used in the same vein as things like Organic/Grass fed/Sea salt/ect..ect.. They are terms used to create interaction with something that results in money.
Those who believe in climate change, declare any weather event to be caused by it.
Those who dont believe in it, show up to argue with those who do.
So slap the phrase “climate change” on a news article, or a broadcast will create the interaction of those 2 groups of people showing up to argue about it, giving money to the one who used the term.
