  1. # Do not forget about Project 2025

This is a response to another pointless Trump comment in a string of them to keep your eyes off the ball!

  2. “Sheinbaum proposed dryly that North America should be renamed “Mexican America” because a founding document dating from 1814 that preceded Mexico’s constitution referred to it that way.

The exchange has started to answer a larger question lingering over the bilateral relationship between the two regional powers: How would newly elected Sheinbaum handle Trump’s strong-handed diplomatic approach?”

What is it going to take to stop sane washing Trump’s lunacy with phrases such as “strong-handed diplomatic approach?”

  3. I bet she could out box him in a 3 round exhibition bout.

  4. We have to call it a win that he didn’t think of calling it the gulf of trump.

  5. Nothing gets under Trump’s skin more than getting roasted by a woman

  6. What is Trump doing? Anyone know why he’s talking about annexation of all these countries including my own?

  7. THIS IS ALL A DISTRACTION SO THEY CAN IMPLEMENT PROJECT 2025 WITHOUT PUSHBACK. PAY ATTENTION YALL!

  8. Compromise: Gulf of Mexico remains as is, but the continent below Central America shall be renamed South America

  9. Trumps a moron but the president of Mexico is hardly in a position to dunk on anyone

Edit: there were way better versions of this when world leaders made fun of Putin. Iirc the president of maybe Romania posted a map that had a bunch of current day Russia as Romanian when Putin did his little bullshit history lesson. That was a legit clap back, this is ain’t that at all.

  10. Why is anyone still paying attention to what he says? This shouldn’t even be acknowledged. It’s his proven way of making the public look at something shiny while they hold hearings for his wacky cabinet picks. The media falls for it every time.

  11. Yeah well, Canada is going to drop being in “North America” and we are now part of “North Mexico.”

  12. Mexico has the best opportunity now to rename the Gulf of California to the Gulf of Mexico.

  13. How the hell does adding Canada, which is mostly liberal, help the Republican Party? LMAO

  14. Tbh, at this point, I have absolutely no fcking idea what goes through Trump’s head

  15. People die to cartels while this corrupt bitch barks.

  16. Other, sane, world leaders not only laugh at him constantly but they are going to make him look like a cheap Hitler knock off for the next four years. He’s such an embarrassment.

  17. Well… I mean, at least some Americans are waking up to the reality that they have become a worldwide joke over the last decade and that they are merely tolerated by the global population not loved, and respected or really even liked…

It’s kind of sad, because America really does need someone to help make it great again… they just decided to keep going in the complete opposite direction. 😔

  18. Lots of Texans are saying ‘it’s time to rejoin Mexico,Trump is too crazy to lead, and he owes Russian banks $30B’

  19. I’d think Trump could start at Mar a Lago but what do I know!

  20. I love that the president of Mexico is an academic with a physics background and an engineering PhD. DJT ain’t shit compared to Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum.

  21. All bait and switch. Say something outrageous get everyone buzzing and then slip something or some stuff through unnoticed. Pay attention, there is something bigger going on.

  22. Question for our US friends who realize what a dangerous lunatic Trump is:

What are *you*, personally, going to do to help ensure the midterms go back the other way and the rest of the world can enjoy seeing Trump absolutely knee-capped in two years? It’s not that far away. Will you donate? Will you volunteer for your local campaigns? Will you vote?

Secondly, is there anything us non-Americans can do?

    Sincerely,

    A concerned neighbour.

  23. He isn’t serious. He’s intentionally making very extreme statements now, before he is in office, simply to “adjust expectations”.

When he’s in office, the media and public will be so focused on what the next extreme thing will be, the stuff he actually wants to do will go relatively undiscussed.

It’s a very common tactic, he isn’t smart for using it, but in the current media environment it’s incredibly effective. Media is so reliant now on clickbait, it’s amazingly easy to set the topic of discussion in the country away from what you’d prefer doesn’t get much attention.

There may be things very much worth reporting on about his actual plans at the moment, but you’d never know with the media in the shape it’s in. It’s very unfortunate.

The cause of this of course is the internet generally – the complete removal of the prior forms of income generation for newspapers, which paid for real journalists. That was mainly the “classifieds” section (the old school “for sale” section that people paid for to put in newspapers in their local city). Amazon etc took that away, now the main revenue stream for news is eyeballs on ads, which requires clickbait. It’s a terrible course of events.
