I have the “honor” of driving modern electric cars for work and you can wrangle my personal vehicle (a two ton V8 that prefers 98 octane) out of my cold dead hands.
I am not against electric cars in any way, but there’s still a long way to go before they have the road capabilities of big strong 4WDs in particular.

Why would the person stop feeling like they’re subsidizing Tesla sales just because the price of gas increased? If anything, it should make them feel it even more strongly.
They say it will cost 40 NOK per litre later this year.

Min diesel som bruker 0.6l mila koster meg nå 2700-3000kr mnd (bare i drivstoff). Skal si jeg sterkt vurderer å betale 2-3k i lån i mnd for å kjøre en ny elbil istedenfor.. Kan lade så mye jeg vil for 250kr i mnd på jobb.
Vil ikke en gang tenke på hva han her betaler!

We had a Chevy Suburban 8.1L (same truck basically) which ran both gasoline and LPG (gass). Surprisingly economical as it had the same running costs as a car using 1L/10km of gasoline.
I miss that car
