The programme aims at building capacity in the field of youth and support international cooperation, policy dialogue and non-formal learning, as a driver of sustainable socio-economic development and well-being among youth organisations and young people. Projects shall strengthen youth organisations, improve their involvement in democratic life, enhance entrepreneurial and innovative capacities of young people, and demonstrate inclusion and accessibility of young people with fewer opportunities. Projects targeting Sub-Saharan Africa shall include youth exchanges to achieving the goals of the Youth Mobility for Africa flagship initiative.
