Is there an article which simply explains what’s going on with migros with these we corporate politics/ and or power struggle.
Merci for paying more for less. 🥰
If only the money spent on marketing actually benefited customers.
“Thanks for being gas-lit into thinking we’re a small local company when we’re basically a monopoly lobbying politicians HARD and draining your money with shrinkflation”
“Also we’ll market the shit out of farmers and countryside while squeezing prices ever more pushing farmers to suicide and depression, then we’ll buy their bankrupted exploitation”
Merci für nüt.
A new coop opened closer to me than the closest Migros so I’ve been using that the past month.
Turns out, Migros is now about cost equal with Coop when it always used to be about 30-50CHF cheaper for the weekly shop.
Not sure what they’re doing but they’re not doing a good job recently.
That and the online shopping is so weird to me. Delivery fees are expensive in the first place, then if you want the food delivered in a timely manner they add another small fee onto it, and for some reason you can’t buy everything that you can buy in a large Migros.
Like, just send someone to a large Migros in the area and pick the order from there. Why can’t I get chicken wurfeli online? Why can’t I get one particular flavour of yoghurt online when I can get it in practically any branch?
Aldi (or Lidl) are rolling out home delivery gradually. So that would kill Migros completely for me.
despite all bitter comments, everywhere I look in the ocean of evil Corporations I see much worse than Migros. I like them.
Pretty soon they’ll be fining us 200CHF for shopping across the border
