People keep saying Trump is going to destroy US democracy. Call me a conspiracy theorist or whatever, but I believe US is a plutocracy masquerading as a democracy. The true power lies in hands of the wealthy, with the most powerful ones being financial institutes, energy sector, and MIC. Trump will not be able to take power from their hands or hurt their interest. He cannot do that.
Blackrock and JP Morgan want to a good return for their investments in Ukraine. Shells reported highest profit in its 115 years of history. Lockheed Martin got new F-35 contracts when countries give away F-16 and renew their Air Forces. You can find news about these all over the Internet. And you can bet whoever manufactures artillery, ATACMS, shells, tanks, Bradleys also got great contracts as well.
All these players want a decently prolonged conflict (for MIC and energy sector). They want it ended in a peace for Ukraine (for Blackrock and JP Morgan). That will give them the greatest profit. So far, Biden is doing an okay job. Trump will have to continue doing that. Abandoning Ukraine to the wolf means he will piss off all these players. That would be quite a dangerous thing to do. If he did that, you bet assassinations will be coming.
