Greece, N.Y. — A man faces charges following an investigation into shots fired in Greece the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Police responded to the area of Bonesteel and Andover streets around 11 a.m. Nov. 23 after receiving 911 calls reporting 4-6 gunshots.
Officers obtained video that showed someone firing gunshots at a vehicle, which then fled the area, with the suspect leaving the camera’s frame. They determined a vehicle had been struck and a victim was targeted.
Police arrested Ismael Matos, 23, of Rochester, Tuesday and charged him with criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
Matos was taken to the Monroe County Jail on $2,500 bail. His next court date is scheduled for Wednesday.
