Yeah! Put them in water.
I saw a documentary once where a chef of a paper recycling yard claimed it doesnt matter if people rip it of or not because they put everything under water and after the paper desolves it sinks down while plastic floats above.
Iirc this is not plastic, but made of cellulose – ie just regular paper.
