Watching him nap in the sun and chomp chicken has brought me a lot of joy. It's hard to tell from these photos, but he has been suffering from mange and his tail is quite bald. Per the advice of Fox Angels (who are lovely, please reach out to them if you see a fox in need) I've been feeding him regularly in order to administer medication. I've now given him both doses of the meds, so hopefully Itchy won't be quite so itchy anymore! And yes, the garden is in a bit of a state. That's this summer's project.

foxes always look so fairytale-esque to me, except for that last picture, looks like a little demon
Good of you , foxes have a bad rep but you have a good heart…
Not worried about the garden , mine is worse , though can’t fathom why there be two fences with a distinct angle/ deviation/ taper, that is a bit of a mystery which is intriguing
oh sick he’s awesome! look after him well
I love that last pic. **CHOMP!**
When I was cycling to work at 7am yesterday, it was pitch dark and bloody freezing and felt like crap. Then this glorious fox ran across in front of me, so I decided to change direction and follow him, and he had joined two others playing in a garden. I went from feeling like crap to having a proper Friday feeling. It’s amazing how critters can do that, we really should appreciate them more.
What a wonderful human being you are. Thank you for taking care of Itchy and his lady!
May you never run out of loo paper, and your biscuit never get too soggy once dipped!
Edit – seems you have your own inbuilt squirrel deterrent too!!
I get the foxes that leave random items of clothing or a load of rubbish in my garden during the night. Never the cute ones that just chill.
They fight, they bite, they fight and bite and fight
First couple of photos are cute but the last one is definitely a skinwalker
