This is a blast from the past, probably got a Pogs collection nearby!
I loved these so much as a kid.
Ah yeah, the good old Walkers collecting. It was such a hardship collecting those, must have been around the late 90s?
Last time I checked my complete Tazo Star Wars collection, in folder was worth ….. £2
Someone on eBay selling 24 keeneys for £90. Although they called them “slammers” and I’m concerned 8-year-old me was lied to
Good stuff. It might be hard to find someone to trade with though.
Ah man, this instantly takes me back. Good find!
God knows what happened to all my old Pogs, Tazo’s and Go-Go’s.
About 25 years ago I was walking to the pub and this little kid around 5 years old was sat behind a table in the street with a pile of pogs. I stopped and engaged the small boy in conversation. I’m not sure I knew what pogs were but they looked interesting. He said he was selling them. I asked him ‘how much?’ and he replied “£2″. So I said ‘hmmmm …. £2 … ok, it’s a deal”.
“But” I continued “what you should have done is ask for £4 and then do a deal at £3”. He looked excited for a brief second before I extinguished the light in his eyes. “Ok, £3” he said. “No, it’s too late” I said “£2 was the agreement”. And with that I paid him, grabbed my pogs and left. I like to think I taught him a valuable lesson that day.
I’ve still got them. Lots of Star Wars pogs, probably worth a small fortune by now.
Remember Tazos? They’re back! In loft collection form!
Rich in nostalgia
Last time I checked, two months ago, they sold on eBay for less than a tenner
Link them together and build something?
Nice! I have these and the Star Wars ones hanging around in my house somewhere. I nicked the sheet of paper for the Doritos ones off a kid who bullied me at one of those PGL camps, he knew it was me but couldn’t prove it. It was very satisfying watching his meltdown, screaming that I’d stolen the paper whilst nobody believed him haha!
Somewhere between 15 to 25 quid depending how many full books on ebay for about 50
I still have the star wars ones in the folder but it’s worth nothing lol.
Hi Rich, I’m Smeeble09
When I was a young kid in the 90s, my grandad owned a newsagents/fancy goods shop (or whatever they used to call them) and when my gran would get crisps for my brother and I for picnics, visits, trips, etc, she would apparently feel through the bags of crisps in the shop, so that the ones she’d bring would have Tazos in them. So, to anyone who bought crisps from Hamilton’s in Stirling town centre in the mid 90s, and may have been afflicted by a below average Tazo count, I’m sorry.
Narrator: “He was NOT rich.”
These are in my loft along with my premier league 94 sticker book, millions pending.
