TANEKO, one of the largest russian refineries is reportedly burning now. Unknown drones flew all the way to Tatarstan (approx. 1000 km from Ukraine) and paid a visit. However, russian authorities say it’s a “technical lightning” during night hours

  1. Technical lighting? That’s not even a thing… technically 🤪

  2. Attention everyone Mr Lavrov here. There’s absolutely no problem here nothing to see here just a little bit of technical lighting. Move along folks chop chop.

  3. Surely the RU citizens can see through the bullshit excuses

  4. Sorry, but I can not really identify much. No open fire. The workers are leaving the facility, slow and controlled. The safety torch is heavily on duty, seems they are burning the products as the production has stopped in a part of the raffinery after the hit. It is very cold, in the middle of the winter, the lights are orange (as normal, these are sodium-vapor lights) and we see much steam, also this is normal. One block is without any electrical light, this was likely hit; even off duty, in raffineries regular all lights are always on during night, also in not producing facilities.

Possible, there was an attack but this time most likely not as devastating as prior attacks on other raffineries. I do not see any secondary fires.

  5. Look up dutch disease. Russian economy is fucked beyond belief. Russia cant refine enough final petro products because they dont have enough refineries so they import it back at times of high demand. They export the raw petro. Ukraine is categorically dismantling russia’s main source of income. Interest rates will be insane very soon.

  6. Okay than we change it into: Where smoke is, is technical lighting

  7. Just watching Chernobyl the second time and it fits so well “russian authorities say its a technical lightning during night hours”

  8. The Russian thesaurus is being modified daily to come up with new phrases to cover “on fire“. Let’s see – Technical Lighting, Drone debris, nothing to see here, Putin farted, fire department training, celebration bonfire, smoking accident

  9. It seems that technical lighting is taking place in refineries, factories, military bases and storage facilities every single night now.

  10. Looks more like the emergency lighting has been activated!

  11. Ukraine definitely got their long range drone production ramped up well. That were painful hits the last days and they keep coming. Russia is going down.

  12. The Z-patriotic ruzzian ligthing destroyed NATO-biolab-produced Ukrainian nazi-drones in the air. Unfortunately, the debris…

    # 😂

  13. Such a shame all this is really coming to head finally. Just for Trump to come to power and do his best to tie Ukraine’s hands.

  14. 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦  👍👍👍 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦

  15. Ukrainian debris technology has advanced to “technical lightning” level.

  16. A hit on the Taneko refinery, one of Russia’s largest and most advanced, has been confirmed by Andrii Kovalenko, Head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation. The facility has an annual processing capacity of over 16 million tonnes of oil.

**Quote from Kovalenko**: “The refinery plays a key role in providing fuel to the Russian military. Taking out refineries and oil depots directly affects Russia’s ability to wage an intensive war.

The last drone attack on the refinery in the spring of 2024 damaged the primary processing unit at the plant.

The refinery is located more than 1,000 km from the war zone.”

Local Telegram channels are sharing footage of smoke rising from the Taneko refinery in Tatarstan, with reports indicating that an evacuation is currently underway.

  17. Why does Russia lie about everything? Just non-stop lies.

    Why not say “no comment”?

  18. Russia’s oil and gas contributes between 20-25% of its country’s GDP. This is why Ukraine is targeting these refineries consistently. It’s a smart strategic move. Basically Russia’s economy is FOOOOOKED.

  19. More properly a “technical lighting” up of the refinery via Ukrainian drone. How long before Vladivostok is attacked?

  20. Almost daily these long distance drones strike. And Ukraine is still ramping up production. In a year, all of Russia’s oil production is gone.

  21. So very technical you wouldn’t believe it! Propaganda is laughable

  22. No i Trust Putler, its obviously Christmas decoration

  23. Is that “technical smoke” to go alongside the technical lighting?

  24. I would run as well from “technical lightning”
