Just bought a tesla and I am experimenting with charges and where to charge.

I ask grok the following question 'How much kw in a hour is able to charge the mobile connector' https://x.com/PalazzoVincenzo/status/1878171170463215647?t=iJkEduidcsBfKLGE-H-VhA&s=09

How much is this accurate? how much time the mobile connector is able to charge from 20 to 80 (around 50kw)?

  1. You can get 3.7 kW if you got one of those blue camping outlet (I have this setup). From a regular outlet it’s somewhere around 2 kW I think

  2. That’s 2.3 kWh per hour, so 21.7 hours for 50 kWh.
But you shouldn’t use a type J outlet permanently for charging your car.

  3. I’ve charged my M3 for 3 years using a single Phase ans mobile connector and doing 25 k km per year (using superchargers when traveling).

I’m also using the mobile charger when I’m in my other flat.

3kw are slow but enough if you don’t drive more than what you charge and of you do, just connect to a ac 11kw or over when you’re parked and you’ll be fine.

How many km you drive daily is the question?

Was source: I’m a BEV owner since 6 years and not always i could charge at home. I’m still breathing and I’m very convinced that I’ll not be back to ICE.
