Good on this man. We all know you cant remember the capital of Spain without the top botton of your shirt done up.
Seems fair. One day most of the school are breaking school uniform policy and the next day they are far right antagonists.
He must be fun at parties.
It’s only a 10-minute detention. It’s not even a punishment.
Ten minute detentions… oh no, how will the poor darlings survive?
Also I love how the Sun simultaneously writes shit articles like this, while also wailing constantly about the youths not having enough discipline etc. Pick a fucking lane
Scrolled through and couldn’t help but think how much that bloke looks like Billy Bob Thornton.
Are we sure this isn’t all an elaborate set up for the next season of Fargo?
I detest school uniform. We could have a dress code and no uniform. And above all I detest these draconian dictator headteachers.
Back in my day we spent detention scraping chewing gum from the underside of desks. Then we went to serve in the army. Those were the days.
I went to a state school that was extremely strict on uniform. It works when you want to control behaviour. It’s the key stone to it. The school I went to is now one of the best state schools in the country.
People don’t want to hear it but discipline is the basis of being able to provide a good education. Bad behaviour in classrooms from one or two kids can destroy the education of 30 others.
Britain’s strictest head? Does this mean that Catherine Birbalsingh has been demoted to number 2?
Damn, I missed the end of the season.
“A pupil added: “Some teachers look like they live on the streets, but you get detention if a bit of your shirt is untucked. It’s so stupid.””
The thing they don’t understand is that the reason for things like this is not just because they like the uniform being neat, it’s because in life you will have to follow rules you may think are unnecessary and there will be times where you think it is unfair that you have to follow some but others do not, and part of being able to live in society is knowing how to navigate that properly.
Sometimes rules are in place purely for the purpose of having them follow rules.
