My friend followed hers all across town, out of the country on a ferry, and all the way to Romania before it dropped off the map.
That’s only because somebody used Evri to send it to Shenfield.
Yeah it’s common, I saw some influencer on YouTube actually track there phone down to a shopping centre in China, they bought it back and still had all there photos etc on it. Crazy
It’s going to be “refurbished” into spare parts soon. If you break your screen and take it to an independent repair shop. They can’t get nearly enough parts from Apple. So they buy refurbished screens and other parts. Which should come from broken phones but often comes from stolen phones.

I don’t mind it getting broken down and sold for parts as long as the information does not get touched and is wiped out.
Mine stayed there for about two weeks, and then it ended up in Shenzhen port. My partner got a phone call from someone speaking in Chinese (I had marked it as stolen with his number to call). And then it went dark. The ciiiiiiircle of liiiiiife 📱
It does suggest there is a big enough system to warrant a large scale investigation from the police. Wonder if its already underway

Apply for one of the many supply chain jobs at Apple in Shenzen, then whilst on your interview trip, pop down to the market and see the supply chain in action!
Mine went from France to Algeria to Shenzhen. I mean getting your phone stolen sucks but the worst bit was how many times they tried to hack into my email account!! Not only that they then kept sending spam links to my mom because she was my emergency contact and got her number from there. It was extremely stressful having to deal with that
My partner’s phone was stolen 6 weeks ago, popped up in Dubai today
