Flemish govt accepts VRT new board of directors: 3 N-VA, 3 VB, 1 CD&V, 1 Vooruit, 4 independents. VLD, Groen and PVDA have no seats shifting the VRT more to the right/far-right.

Woof, that’s some news that makes me worry about the future of VRT. This board is easy to be very one-sided. I feel like the media should stay neutral, and this doesn’t bode well for that aspect.
3 VB is very worrisome
Waarom moeten er eigenlijk 8 politici in die Raad van Bestuur zitten?
Vrt board should be independent without interference from any party. At least in the old days politicians over party borders believed in the independence of our public media.
This is the first step towards Orbanization. Also wtf is with that seat partition.
If this is what we voted for, so be it.
