This would be the province boundaries if counties were never swapped (for example in 1584 cavan was created as part of connaught and given to ulster)

  3. This has me thinking if you were to draw a North South divide in Ireland [not the obvious one] similar to the UK’s famous one based more on culture, would you just have it be the 9 Ulster counties or do any other counties warrant inclusion as “Northerners”?

  4. It would certainly improve the rugby if each province gave connacht a county or two
