  1. I was reminiscing about childhood TV shows, and *Raven* popped into my head. It was such a unique show with its epic trials, cool challenges, and, of course, the unforgettable host with his dramatic cloak and wise demeanour. 🖤

  2. Used to infuriate me when every kid failed a certain section of the final challenge.

Looking back now it was clearly scripted, but I was convinced I could’ve beaten it with ease.

  3. I blame him for certain aesthetic choices in my life… ✨

  4. One of the coolest kids TV shows ever, IMO. Always wanted to be on it lol.

  5. You mean the blueprint for the Traitors aesthetic? Yeah I had a right old crush on Raven

  6. My dumbarse used to think the kids died when they got evaporated.

  7. Looks like a knock-off Adventure Call to me. Falconhoof would be disgusted.

  8. The three shows I wanted to be on:

    – Raven
    – Jungle Run
    – Trapped

  9. The Way of the Warrior claimed young lives like it was the 21st century’s answer to a polio outbreak. I always waited for the episode where The Raven himself got so agitated by a kid’s untimely death during ‘The Way of the Warrior’ that he takes off his cloak and proclaims “I’ll show ya wee bastards how it’s done”… before taking a wrecking ball to the nuts whilst attempting to get past the first hurdle.

  10. I’ll admit… I had *such* a huge crush on Raven as a kid. Pretty sure he was my gay awakening. 🤣

  11. Me and my girlfriend regularly discuss how it should be brought back for adults.

  12. I liked the way the baddie, Nevar, was just Raven backwards. Very imaginative

  13. He was in the CBeebies panto this year (Beauty and the beast). Definitely went over the heads of the kids, but it was nicely nostalgic for the grownups

  14. A friend of mine who looked a bit like him claimed he was Raven’s cousin.

And our DT teacher looked a bit like him too, so much so that someone once called him Raven, at which point the teacher turned to him and said ‘Hush, my young warrior’, in the accent and everything. He was pretty cool like that.

  15. I was young enough when this came out that i believed the peril that the kids were in
