Pamela Anderson Teases Upcoming Role in the ‘Naked Gun’ Reboot: ‘I’m Literally Running Into Walls’

    Meyers, being a friend and former colleague of Schaffer’s, has already seen some clips of the film and was very impressed with how good Anderson was at “playing it straight.”

    “It’s so hard. So hard. It was really hard to keep a straight face,” Anderson told Meyers. “But, yeah, you can’t ruin it. And like I said, complete departure. And I was also afraid to meet Liam, but Liam is also just a wonderful, generous person. And what an honor.”

  7. I think the only way this reboot works is if Liam Neeson comes straight at it and serious the same way Leslie Nielsen did.

  8. To be fair even though scary movie 3 was no masterpiece and she was only in it for 5 minutes it seemed she and Jenny McCarthy understood their role well enough. Like I’d be lying if I said I didn’t chuckle at their the ring spoof

    And she was fine hosting Saturday night live (man I’m old) 28 years ago. So.. who knows

  10. You can’t replace Leslie neilsen. And why are they bringing it back? 100% won’t be anyway near as good as the originals.

  12. Liam Neeson is a good choice but I would have preferred Jonathan Banks in the lead role. I feel Liam Neeson is going to try to be Leslie neilson but not as good whereas Jonathan Banks could be more original.

  14. They need to just use a different character/storyline. If they try to use a different person for frank it will be trash.

Everyone always comments that they can’t replace Leslie Nielsen – but the key thing is, they can’t replace Zucker Abrahams Zucker – Naked Gun, Airplane, Top Secret etc IS them – it’s their sense of humor, onscreen. This isn’t like trying to remake a regular movie, it’s more like someone trying to redo another comedian’s stand-up set. It’s completely pointless.
