The lorry only reversed into the gate to ensure that the gate didn’t get reversed into in the future
I saw a lot of Nazi symbols on that gate. Surely this truck driver was simply trying to denazify the embassy in the most humanitarian way possible?
The lorry driver was merely aiding the pro-Irish gate separatists.
Upon further consideration, I do think an apology is owed, so I’ve taken the opportunity to draft one:
Dear Former Gate of the Russian Embassy in Dublin,
We are very sorry. We understand that, as a gate, your job was merely to demarcate the boundary of the embassy and control entry to its grounds, and it was not you who ordered an illegal and unprovoked invasion of the sovereign nation of Ukraine or committed war crimes by deliberately murdering civilians and destroying civilian infrastructure in Ukraine during said illegal war. As such, we deeply regret that it was you who was run over by a lorry instead of those who are actually responsible for the aforementioned atrocities.

It really fuckin sucks when a force comprised of people you barely know barges onto your land with heavy machinery and blasts right past the border of where you felt safe with no regard for your independence or opinion, all while the government of that same force doesn’t do anything to stop it or uphold justice for you and your family…….. Wait a minute…
I wrote a letter to my local TD urging the expulsion of Russian delegates. I’d recommend everyone do that same.
Pay them in rubles or claim the driver was Russian
Give him the Eir customer support phone number and tell him that’s the process to make that claim.
Absolutely we should pay, 5 million Rubles or €4:83 should cover it

When peace has been restored in Ukraine and their sovereign nation returned to its original condition and your leader and his generals have been prosecuted for his war crimes then we may contemplate fixing your gate.
