  1. Walked past this last night before the pictures were there and was wondering what the story behind this was.

  2. Some people would want to be having a serious word with themselves.

  3. Wow and I thought I was wasting my life.

    Thanks for the perspective!

  4. There’s a serious amount of miserable mopes who would want to cheer up. God forbid we have any light-hearted fun with some tomatoes on a bridge! Life is far too short to be miserable

  5. Is this an easter egg? What is the lore for this little guy?

  6. RIP lads, hope we can ketchup on the other side 💐

  7. the comments just taking themselves too seriously are mental, god forbid we have a bit of craic

  8. A hundred years from now, some one from Trinity with too much time on their hands will write “The History and Mythology of The Cherry Tomato Bridge”.

It’ll be made into a movie starring a virtual Colin Farrell as The Tomato, his most challenging makeup since The Penguin.

  9. I mean, I have no idea what the context is but it’s hilarious 😂

  10. Petition to officially rename the bridge in the lads’ honour

  11. Do we need to think about setting up a visitors centre before the the tourist season kicks off again for paddy’s day.

  12. I am more impressed by those tea light candles. How the heck are they still burning? Resilient little feckers, as candles go.

As for the tomatoes, standby for the Heinz Ketchup attack.

  13. More random stuff like this is needed, too much attention given to negativity. 👍
