  1. Goes with everything and nothing, quite happily eat a plate of Yorkshire puds on their own

  2. Doesn’t need anything but gravy.

Seriously. Just make a giant yorkshire pud, rip bits off and dunk it in gravy.

  3. Traditionally in Yorkshire you don’t eat a Yorkshire pudding with anything. It’s a starter.

  4. I use yorkshire puddings as food cups instead rice. Replace rice or whatever, with 6-8 yorkshire puds. Put curry/chilli con carne/spaghetti etc bolognaise into each pud. So good.

  5. Roast lamb for lunch. Roast potatoes, long stem broccoli, green beans, gravy, mint sauce and

    Yorky pud.

  6. Toad in the hole is my favourite comfort food and always will be. No other dish will ever be as worthy when it comes to eating my feelings.

  7. Yorkshire pudding wraps, they are a MESS to eat but holy hell do they be amazing

  8. Sometimes I have hot Yorkshire puddings with jam and clotted cream for dessert.

Just had a thought. Has anyone ever tried Yorkshire puddings in a toastie maker?

Imagine it; Ham and/or beans and cheese Yorkshire pudding toastie on a cold day? I’d make it myself but alas I lack a toaster maker at present.

  9. If I am ever lucky enough to visit Great Britain I would love to try a Yorkshire Pudding.

  10. I used to enjoy Yorkie pudding and jam as a kid.

  11. I’ll always make 2/3 extra and put a dollop of jam in them for pudding

  12. I keep a card-sized wedge of Yorkshire pud in my wallet in case I’m on a night out and things get a bit messy.

It’s also worth having a pud in a tiny vacuum sealed packet in case you trap off and they didn’t bring one, though it’s a bit of a red flag if they’re out to pull and don’t have their own stash of Yorkie’s in the bedside drawer.

  13. as a man from gods own backyard, i say unto thee, ALL HAIL THE YORKSHIRE PUDDING

  14. Yorkshire pudding with vanilla ice cream. Don’t judge me.

  15. I 100% agree. My gran used to do chilli com carne inside a massive Yorkshire pudding, like a bowl. It was great, even if a bit weird.

  16. They even go with Nutella. I’m not recommending it, I’m just saying, it functions as a flavour combo.

  17. Yorkshire pudding with roast beef, stuffing n cranberry sauce with chicken, apple sauce with roast pork, mint sauce with lamb. Simples!
