I’ve yet to see a Google ai summary that actually contains anything even remotely closer to an actual answer, really should see where the settings to disable it is
Time to plug [udm14.com](https://udm14.com) again. Get back to back when (or nearly back when) Google search was actually good. No bullshit AI overview, no drowning in sponsored links…
Also, 6000 photos would be about four and a half minutes of footage, iirc.
6000 frames? Probably closer to 60,000 frames. iPhone my arse…
Wow, Aardman were really cutting edge.
Yeah it really was an amazing 4 minutes to experience
it’s so annoying that you can’t turn off the ai search result. I just scroll past it, why the fuck would I want an ai summary
I love the Google AI summaries. I’ve been trying to move away from relying on Google for a while now but have always given up after a week or two because it was just a better search engine than the alternatives. Their embracing of this beneath-pointless AI shit has made the switch so much easier this time around and my Google use is now about 1/4 of what it was. Thank you Google!
Google AI fucking sucks. I always add reddit to the end of my queries now.
And people say Apple’s AI is bad… At least they’re not advertising other business’s products!
About as much use as a flaccid penis.
The events it refers to are so long ago that it shouldn’t fall foul of Rule One but I recently did a search for when Oliver Cromwell said “I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, to think it possible you may be mistaken”.
Google’s Gemini results say he said it in 1605. He would have been just six years of age at that time. He actually said it in 1650.
Time to switch to DuckDuckGo!
Pro Tip
Add “-ai” after your searches to avoid Google’s useless ai bollocks
Another summary I’ve seen suggested the back flip was invented by Sir John Backflip. The Fosbury Flop (high jump) and Burpee (cruel and unusual punishment) were named after their inventors so that might be where it got it from.
With a 30 minute runtime, 6000 photos is a grand total of 3-4fps
This is what is called an “AI hallucination”. It doesn’t know the answer so it fabricates one.
I fucking hate that stupid AI overview and the fact I can’t turn it off.
Today I asked what food goes with a rösti. Voice recognition misunderstood me and the AI search told me not to literally eat a rusty bucket.

Don’t feed an uncooked cat any noodles
Still has a long way before it’s actually useful in certain areas of the internet
It would actually be about 43,000 images if they filmed at the standard 24 frames per second
It’s the wrong answer, Grommet!

Edit – does it depend on using uk or com?
