I think it’s wild anytime I see guys just standing out in the open and firing. I always think they just aren’t used to fighting enemies that can actually shoot straight.
In the Marines we all had to qualify on the M-16 including firing from 500 yards, no scope. Anyone standing in the open and shooting at Marines from that distance or closer was certainly getting shot.
Is it bad I always laugh at the first video of the dude firing what looks to be a 30cal and attempting to run and falls down. Like dumbass you just lit up possibly a platoon of trained soldiers you better run like hell. And his buddy behind the sign thinking a thin metal sign gonna stop a bullet. Two good videos though not sure if they were from Baghdad, possibly from Afghanistan. First one shows a dude dropping 60mm mortars tube is smoking and I think the 6th suddenly a boom and dust, dudes gone. Second one was dud firing rpg when he crouched to fire it flew into a wall blowing up him and three more explosions (most likely any other rockets he had.)

Muqtafa Al-Sadr and the mahdi army some days helped our boys out since they are predominantly shiia. Other days things like this went down. He is still alive and kicking thou.
It’s probably messed up to say but these dudes are lucky they didn’t have to deal with drones. If American troops get into a new war soon I genuinely don’t know how grunts will deal with the drones. Will be straight up canon fodder compared to these guys in the video.
