  1. Fuck, the media are going to start using the “average household energy bills” bullshit when talking about petrol prices as well?

  2. ..and if it’s petrol it’s like £88 – that’s a massive difference – how about ‘cost of filling larger car is now as much as £90 or more’?PS – if the tank is bigger it costs more to fill, but it may not get that poorer mileage if driven frugally. Also a diesel gets better miles per gallon than petrol, so it often costs less.
So diesle drivers are not ‘even worse off’ the knowledgless wally from the RAC

  3. Price of filling my 40ltr tank of a wee note has gone up £10 in two years raising my monthly fuel expense an extra £40 -£50

  4. Before everyone starts talking about how we should all use public transport please consider that doctors and nurses work odd hours that aren’t always covered by public transport outside of London, and people like carers need to go house to house and certainly can’t rely on public transport. Mileage claims haven’t caught up with these increases.

  5. The price of oil has actually come down quite significantly today by 13% back to 110 USD per barrel. Can’t wait to see the retailers pass on the cuts as quickly as they passed on the increase’s.. oh wait.
