  1. This might be a map of where Jews were and were not allowed to live two hundred years ago.

    I never new Mark Cuban was Jewish.

  2. Without having done any specific genealogical research on Adam Sandler’s ancestors, I wonder whether the map could have the wrong Panemunė.

    The Panemunė right across the river from downtown Kaunas seems more plausible than the Panemunė in Lithuania Minor near Tilžė/Sovetsk. I found different numbers online, but there may have been as many Jewish people living in Kaunas as in all of East Prussia/Lithuania Minor combined. Certainly the percentage was far higher.
