Ukranian troops launch counterattack in West Russia region • FRANCE 24 English

Ukranian troops have begun a new attack in the Kursk border region, in order to halt the advance of Russian troops, says Moscow. Tanks, armoured vehicles and a demolition unit are reportedly involved in the counterattack in the western Russian region, where Kyiv’s forces launched a surprise offensive last August. France 24’s correspondent in Kyiv Emmanuelle Chaze has the details.
