    Fun fact when it gets cold outside it gets a bit colder inside.

    My bedroom is very cold and I am not in prison.

  4. Our prisons are in a right state and it’s a political hot potato to try and modernise/fix them. Spending money on improving the conditions of prisoners, no matter how much you emphasise the importance of rehabilitation to reduce crime, is an easy attack vector for the press and political opponents.

  8. I’m pretty liberal in my views on crime and rehabilitation but this guy needs to grow a pair. Found with £40k of heroin then found with more drugs in prison, he’ll come out and do it again.

    Well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of my own actions.

I remember when I first immigrated to the UK, I lived in a shared house in Greenford about 25years ago, with two people in every room, our room (We lived in the lounge was with 3 people) we didn’t use the heating because we couldn’t really afford it. I worked a job and it was a happy environment!
