  7. And Trump’s opposition to wind turbines stems from his inability to take down the turbines in Scotland that he believed were ruining the view of his golf course. It’s not some principled take on the effectiveness of renewals, bird migration, or even profits. It’s just spite.

    Joking aside, the current anti-wind *turbines* rhetoric is remarkably transparent. We get it. These people profit from fossil fuel dependence and are afraid that the current growth of renewables threatens their bottom line. That’s it.

  9. I don’t believe he wants to take them down or he would have before. But these things hold almost a thousand gallons of oil and the front seal will blow after about 3 years, I drove through the panhandle and one out of every five had a blown seal, it takes a lot of money to fix them with helicopters to have to take them apart. The warranty company leaves a lot to be desired from what I hear.
