  1. Why would you need more than two ?
My bad the alcoholics are down voting me.

  2. “Ryanair staff claim the problem is not so much with passengers drinking on the plane but with those who get inebriated at an airport”

That’s convenient. So they can still sell their own alcohol at inflated prices but they don’t want their customers buying elsewhere.

  3. My ex used to but a bottle of rum in duty free and drink that…😂😂
I don’t drink on the flight or in general really.
Personally I believe any bother drunk or not should invalidate the passport.
    Permanently.

  4. It’s ironic the cheap flights attract undesirables and drunkards. Or is that correlation?

  5. Turn up 2 hours early, get through check-in and security, and maybe get 2 pints in before baording in the 45 minutes you have before boarding, but what if the plane is delayed ages? What if you’ve gotten to the airport early? What about the booze you get at duty-free? What if i got drunk before even turning up at the airport? What about all the majority of people who can have a few drinks and not become massive disruptive arseholes?

Just that effing twat Michael OLeary being a trolling little *unt!

  6. Sounds like unenforceable bs just to get people to spend more on the plane

  7. Some people can’t handle their drink. Lightweights

  8. Does the airline not have the right to refuse you to board the aircraft if you are pissed?

  9. I’ve never been in an airport long enough to have more than two.

  10. If I could afford more than two drinks in an airport lounge I’d be flying with someone much classier than Ryanair, but I do see where they’re coming from. Someone getting on half-pissed and causing trouble is bad enough on a coach, never mind a plane.

  11. Fair enough, who wants to get on a flight pissed anyway.

  12. I need at least a couple of drinks to cope with flying Ryanair (or as I personally refer to it: “Mandatory Shed Airlines” – b/c wherever you’re flying too or from, you will be forced to stand in a big shed at some point).

  13. I used to like a pre and in-flight beer, why not – i’M oN hOlIdAy, felt like you’re expected to do it, never had that many to get super pissed, wouldn’t have the time in the bar and the trolley doesn’t go up and down the plane often enough, always sobered up during the flight, needed the loo too often, always dehydrated.

Now I don’t touch a drop, happy with water, makes the experience much nicer.

  14. “We based our market entirely on the absolute dregs of the customer base. It turns out, they’re not very nice people. Can you make that your fault, please?”

  15. A significant problem has become people using cheap pub-coke both before and on flights. We’ve all seen them at the airport. And if we can spot them the airline staff can too.

It’s very simple. Don’t allow people who are off their tits on booze or drugs onto your planes.

I dunno, offer a simple logic puzzle and if you fail, back of the queue.

  16. Airports would lose alot of money so probably won’t happen

  17. Hey look it’s all the weird reddit people who don’t like anyone doing anything fun.

  18. What size of drink. Does two double gins count as two drinks or four?

  19. Jokes on them, I’ll drink in the taxi on the way to the airport

  20. If your gonna fly people to Malaga, they’re gonna drink 14 pints of Stella before you do

  21. Very good idea, hope it happens. Absolutely no reason to drink at an airport.

  22. If they are so concerned, they could stop selling their overpriced drinks on board!
