Let me be the one to enlighten you all. It was NEVER about the economy or “the price of eggs” for his followers. They voted Trump due to the culture war. They think the US is too liberal. They voted to get rid of interracial and same sex couples and trans characters on tv. They voted against “preferred pronouns”. They voted to say racist stuff on social media with no repercussions.
Inflation was just a talking point that was more palatable. Trump doesn’t have to do anything at all and they’ll see it as a victory. Only us on the Left took the inflation argument at face value. If eggs get too high, they’ll go without eggs. If toilet paper gets too high, they’ll use rags. It only matters that they are getting closer and closer to saying the n-word and the f-word in normal conversation.
