  2. I would like to be optimistic but the only thing in the last 80 years guaranteeing freedom from wanton invasions was US military power. Even that hasn’t been enough in some cases. 

    With America politically on the decline and the exacerbated scarcity of resources from global warming things are going to be a lot more violent everywhere going forward.

  7. I’ll repeat what I said on another thread about Johnson in this one.

    Johnson and his Conservative party took millions in bribes and favours from Russia after the first and before their second invasion of Ukraine. The same global kleptofascism we still see playing out by a number of actors.

    Brexit and their corruption was one of a number of reasons that emboldened Putin to undertake their second invasion, it’s been a furious back pedal by Johnson ever since to avoid being more widely known as a traitor.

    Do not be fooled by this charlatan, he is desperately seeking to stay relevant and lies and gaslights as often as the rest of us breathe.

    Those who claim Boris is some sort of clown are misleading themselves. He isn’t a buffoon – he is an Oxford graduate and an accomplished linguist [ includes Classical Greek and Latin] which gives him an insight that others lack.
