The world population could drop by half and it would still be at 1974 levels. Where does this idea of doom and gloom if people don’t have more babies come from? People are still having families, just not everyone. The real problem is businesses are closing factories and store chains are downsizing. Small towns don’t have jobs anymore so of course people are moving and the towns are collapsing. Bring back the things that made those towns attractive to live in and people will want to go back.
Maybe we could stop kids from dying in school shootings? Would that help?

I think the noblest thing anyone can do at this point is to refuse bringing any children into the world to serve as slaves to the oligarchy. Fucking useless evil Boomers have destroyed this world and never had any intention of leaving the world a better place as generations before tried to do.
We’re not having enough children, but people from other countries are dying, literally, to move here. On it’s face that would solve any population crisis.
