Yurii Savka on LinkedIn: It’s not Putin, who attacked Ukraine. It’s Russia.

  1. I have hesitated if this should be posted here but after another one story about poor russian students suffering from their ukrainian friends switching to _ukrainian_ language I’ve decided to share it.

  2. You can blame Putin, you can blame Russia, but you cant blame every russian. Russian students are not responsible for what russia and putin do and just hating them for being russian is stupid. Giving visa to ukrainian running from ukraine, and not giving them to russian leaving russia is wrong. Banning russians from sport events even when they are attending under neutral flag is stupid. Sanctions have to be aimed at russia, not russians(generaly, not speaking about some individuals).

  3. well, yes and no. I agree, some people are doing things that ended up helping the war. But lumping the good people in with the bad is pretty shitty. That’s like saying “all of America is guilty for Iraq”. Well, yeah, the people who voted bush, supported the war, etc were guilty, but millions of people (including me) said the war was fucking bullshit from the beginning, but what were we gonna do? Besides protest, not really anything we can do. Back then I was a college student and broke. We’re all just pawns in the world’s game.

And LinkedIn has turned into Facebook, people posting all this stupid shit, the only reason I’m on there is for jobs, and recruiters keep telling me about accounting jobs when I haven’t done that in over 3 years, I want IT jobs, not accounting.
