WinDirStat – a useful program that visualizes all the files on my selected drives ♥ [OC] Posted by zugarrette Tags:DataData Is BeautifulDataIsBeautiful 13 comments The data source is my SSDs and I just wanted to share this cause it is a useful and cool program have a great night! Yea that’s a classic. Checkout DaisyDisk if looking for something similar on Mac OS. i found wiztree to work a lot better on my machine plus it offers dark mode, only downside is the perma-donate button unless you pay up. windirstat is also chill though Haven’t seen this guy in a long time. Used this extensively when I had to support massively under resourced servers for customers…that and Wireshark. I’m a windirstat enjoyer, although I don’t find the visualization part all that helpful personally. I stick with the nice ordered folder view. And if you’re on Linux there’s QDirStat The free equivalent on Mac is “Disk Inventory X” for anyone wondering. wow that is a lot of porn 🙂 I haven’t used that application in forever. At least 15 years. I work in IT and use this a ton. I didnt know windows had this, long before i used qdirstat on linux. That’s neat and kinda retro looking. I prefer Spacesniffer, though WizTree is my favorite one. Faster and more responsive than WinDirStat, which is the only problem that made me look for an alternative. Comments are closed.
