The real news item here is that this is somehow going to surprise a fuckload of people who have been so inundated in partisan bullshit they think Erdogan isn’t effectively right of Mike Pence in every way that matters.
I’m not a citizen of Turkey but I’m pretty sure bashing on gay people isn’t going to distract people suffering from 45% inflation rate.
Anyway, how much money did they spend on try to get people to use Türkiye?
