I heard that only national army soldiers of Ukraine get protection but mercenaries do not. They can be executed according to Russian military law.
If you go there to fight Russia, you shouldn’t let them capture you alive.
Not many gets out alive from Russia and you get tortured for hours and days until they are tired of it and you lose your value as propaganda. Then they kill you.
May just use one bullet or a Grenade on yourself, a quick death is better than surrendering to Russians.
