  1. The Russians wax nostalgic for bread lines… It’s the community aspect for which they yearn…

  2. Putin wants to bring the USSR back, with all its flaws.

  3. Can’t wait to see how the propagandists spin these if/when they happen.

  4. This, this is the indicator.

    Shit are hitting the fan.

  5. I’m guessing Moscow and St. Petersburg will be spared of any hardships though.

  6. didnt this moron say a few months ago at some press conference that the russian economy was doing better than most western ones? lmao

  7. Here we go, so those sanctions, still not working Vlad?

Ok great, *increase* the sanctions as Vlad’s still not feeling it.

  8. I always said that to Putin “having an economy” is optional. He really believes that he can hoist a lot more suffering on the back of the Russian beast before the things he cares about (his personal power and wealth) are under serious threat. He fully knows that the only way for him to win the current conflict on a scale he desires is to outlast and outsuffer support for Ukraine.
Unfortunately, freezing accounts and food rationing (and other rationing methods) would actually provide a temporary framework to keep his war economy going for a bit longer. Enticing Russians to sign up to military service with monetary incentives when there isn’t anything to spend them on might be harder but many believe that Russia are headed to a new round of conscriptions anyhow and Putin can get that “for free”.
Don’t get me wrong. This report might be another good indicator that things in Russia are stretched to a breaking point, so whatever Ukraine are doing with their Western support works. However, Putin seems willing to sacrifice a lot more of Russia’s future on the altar of his own vanity.

  9. The propagandists gonna say something like: “Putin is a smart man he raises the prices of the groceries, so he has more money for the special military operation. Everything is the wests fault.”

  10. I hope 🤞 maybe that will make some Russians open their fucking eyes!

  11. Squeeze them more plz. Turn Russia into an orange and make juice all day.

  12. I guess that butter clip didn’t go over well in russki-land

  13. just talking about it should cause a run on every russian bank

  14. Comrade Putin has been wise enough to bring back this glorious feature of Soviet society. We must bow before him and thank him for his wisdom. Hopefully he’ll announce a five-year plan this year!

  15. Are there sanctions in place regarding food stocks and delivery yet? No? Asking for a friend. Oh.

  16. I really hope this is true. If it is, that is a big step to economic collapse.

  17. The economic indicators for the funeral business still look excellent, one might argue this sector is actually flourishing.

Also, those Russians who are fluent in several North Korean accents, can find jobs within minutes.

People only focus on the negative. /s

  18. Nothing screams winning the new world order like freezing the bank accounts of your citizens after you’ve bankrupt the country financially and morally.

  19. Please do this Putin. This would be the last push they need to revolt

  20. Finally an impact.

It will be hard for people to Support Putin when he can no longer provide for them.

  21. Oh now we’re talking. He’s really gambling for time here, thinking that the Trump administration is going to stop this war for him, so he doesn’t have to. All Ukraine has to do now, is tell both Trump and Putin to go F themselves and watch ruzzia implode… that is, unless Trump lifts the sanctions…

  22. Haha. I pray for chaos and (a manageable) collapse

  23. Well, here we go again. Russia’s tradition of war, economic decline and fail. 3 times the charm I guess?
