Exiled opposition leader returns to Mozambique and says he is president-elect • FRANCE 24 English

Opposition leader Venancio Mondlane has returned to Mozambique from two months of self-exile. He had left the country late last year after presidential elections that he says were rigged. Hundreds of people died in a police crackdown on protests that followed the vote. Mondlane says he was compelled to come back to stand with his supporters.

This man does not realise the gravity of the situation that Frelimo caused in Moz, the avaricious transnational Capital and his significant contribution to the ensuing anarchy, from which Moz will not extricate itself. He is a bigger risk to Moz than 50 years of Frelimo. Just another megalomaniac, mini clown that confirms the paucity of leadership in the highly romanticised "Africa."
