It has come out that Prince Haakon was contacted by the mother of Juliane Snekkestad about the abuse Marius inflicted upon Juliane during their 5 year relationship. Pictures and text messages to Prince Haakon have been handed over to the police. Juliane herself has previously also contacted Mette Marit about this, police confirmed earlier.

Another altercation is being investigated by police: in 2020 Marius and Juliana were on the Royal ship with the KING AND QUEEN, as well as the crown Prince and Princess, Märtha Louise and her three daughters. Juliana had hurt her hand and called a family member about needing medical attention. Marius became aggressive and Mette had to sit with Juliana in their room until he calmed down. It is unknown how Juliana had hurt her hand and if she ended up getting medical care afterwards.

  1. ⚙ VG and Aftenposten have received information about an episode on the Royal Ship from the summer of 2020, when Juliane Snekkestad (29) and Marius Borg Høiby (28) were on holiday with the royal family. According to the information, Snekkestad has explained in police questioning that Høiby became aggressive during the trip, and that Crown Princess Mette-Marit intervened by having to sit with her in their room until he calmed down.

    ” – I can confirm that there was an episode on the Royal ship. She experienced it as a difficult situation. Beyond that, I am not going to comment on anything specific about this,”

  3. Glad to see Haakon having some bad press over this. Mette-Marit has (rightfully) been getting heat but it seems like he would have known what’s going on as well.

  9. Is it *this* hard for them to not be involved in scandals? Jfc they’re giving Prince Andrew a run for his money.

    The whole royal family should be ashamed of letting this happen, or even allowing Haakon to marry the girlfriend of a convicted felon in the first place. This is what happens when you allow people who were raised in the streets to marry into royalty.
