I have just moved to this new place and am still figuring things out. I tried using this mechanism to close the blinds, but unfortunately, it broke in the process. I’ve been looking at the pieces, and it doesn’t seem straightforward to fit them back together. Has anyone experienced something similar or has any advice on how I can fix this? I’d really appreciate any tips, as I’m not familiar with this type of setup.

If you rent, ask the landlord to send somebody to check the blinds and fix the crank. As you described the blinds could be stuck, this has to be checked. As you just moved in, it should be noted on the handover protocol.
Put it in some rice
Is it a plastic patt thay snapped? Maybe you could 3d print one
