  1. Well they certainly didn’t run this past /r/ireland for approval

  2. Does “it can’t get any worse” count as optimism ?

  3. Holy shite, the rest of Europe must be completely pessimistic

  4. Do you think things could get worse?

    Europe: yes!

    Ireland: no!

Results: “Wow, the Irish are soooooo optimistic!”

  5. Are they mistaking the general Irish population with the population of cork? More info needed.

  6. Most optimistic citizens In Europe

    Really…….

All this country does me included is whine moan and complain and never really get to the root of a problem

  7. It’s easy to feel optimistic when you see so many other countries electing far right fascists and we Irish roundly reject them each time. It’s nice to know we are the good guys.

  8. We’re happy as the government can’t mess up the country anymore than they already have.

  9. could it be that this sub is a condensation of all the miserable bastards in ireland

  10. My English cousins thought grand meant the literal translation of magnificent or impressive, and were a bit deflated when I said it was just “ok”, so I’m assuming some lost in translation on this study

  11. Jesus, I’d say there’s a chance for a crack at the world title here. What d’yiz think?

  12. They definitely didn’t survey any of my family over Christmas. The amount of negativity was off the scale. Needed a holiday after the holiday.

  13. Suck on that tobacco replacement patch Denmark
