LRT, the Lithuanian national broadcaster, has confirmed that AustÄ—ja LukaitÄ— will not compete in the second semi-final of Eurovizija.LT due to illness.
Tonight the filming of the second semi-final of Lithuania’s Eurovision selection takes place, and it’s been announced that only 8 participants will take to the stage instead of 9. Austėja Lukaitė, who was due to sing “Who Am I Without You?” has the flu and will not be able to perform. LRT confirmed that no one will take her place.
Competing in the second semi-final are:
Tomas Dirgėla – “Pašok” (Dance)
Halummi – “The Flame”
Noy – “Just Take Me On A Date”
Jokūbas Jankauskas – “Far Away”
Petunija – “Į saldumą” (To the sweetness)
Freya Alley – “Lalala”
Káro – “Love Bug”
Vilija – “Liesti negalima” (You can’t touch)
Two artists will advance to the final, which will be held on February 15 at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas. The arena is the largest in the Baltic states and covers 39,684 m2 (427,160 sq ft), holding up to 20,000 spectators for concerts.
Silvester Belt won the last edition of Eurovizija.LT and represented Lithuania at Eurovision 2024 with “Luktelk”. He finished 14th in the Grand Final scoring 90 points. Lithuania’s largest points total came in the form of 8 points from the public in the United Kingdom and Latvia.

Lithuania debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, however on their debut they finished in last place with nul points. Lithuania didn’t return to the contest until 1999 when Aiste finished 20th with the song “Strazdas”. Lithuania’s best result came in 2006 when LT United performed “We Are The Winners”. They finished 6th in the final with a total of 162 points. Lithuania has only finished in the top 10 on two other occasions; in 2016 with “I’ve Been Waiting For This Night” by Donny Montell and in 2021 with “Discoteque” by The Roop.
