  1. The cost will be €3 a litre before this is implemented. And like the first time buyer relief, will only serve to spike an increase right before the relief is shaved off.

We’re an island of cunts run by cunts.

  2. How often do petrol stations fill their tanks?

I’m curious about this as I was working across the road from a petrol station last week and it put up its fuel prices a number of times, yet I only saw a tanker in there once.

Surely they pay a set price for the fuel they get, therefore surely the fuel should remain at the same price to the consumer until the tanks need to be filled again?

    Am I missing something here?

  3. What happens to the money in the budget that this would have generated? Surely we’re looking at being taxed somewhere else down the line?

And then what happens if they went tax free and petrol still went over 2 euro a litre?

  4. Filling station on my way to work raised their prices overnight so even with this “cut” we’re still in the same place we were yesterday. Prices will surely rise again in the coming days so it’s totally pointless! A price cap will be far more beneficial, but then again when are these measures ever designed to suit us.

  5. Its 2.09 today for diesel beside me, so tbis would bring down to 1.95? Fuck sake, and by time it goes through it wont be worth a wank!

    Shower of cunts
