OSLO, Jan 14 (Reuters) – Norway's Queen Sonja, 87, will have a pacemaker inserted in a scheduled surgery later this week after suffering a heart problem during the weekend, the Norwegian royal court said on Tuesday.
Sonja, the wife of Norway's head of state King Harald, was briefly hospitalised on Saturday and diagnosed with cardiac fibrillation following a ski trip, the court has previously said.
King Harald, 87, received a pacemaker in March to help compensate for a low heart rate.

Best wishes to her! Scary things for anyone to go through!!
Sorry to hear about this, but really impressed she was on a ski trip at 87!
She and King Harald will now have matching pacemakers – Harald received one after his sudden health crisis during their private trip to Malaysia last February.
Oh wow, that’s scary. My dad is three years younger than her and he had it placed in November, I was so worried. I wish her the best and a swift recovery.
